We'd love to give you some insight on the personal efforts we make in Cuba. Cuba's Cookin' owner, Douglass, has with the help of the Cuban community, built a farm from the literal ground up as a way to sustain food for Cubans in the local area who are greatly deprived of food. Not just unable to obtain it, but to even have access to it, is not an option anymore with the current government right now, in 2025. Here is a look into a day-in-the-life on the farm in Cuba:
Food is at the heart of Cuban culture, and every dish tells a story. Our menu is crafted with love, featuring traditional recipes passed down through generations. Savor the rich flavors of Ropa Vieja, the crispy delight of Tostones, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory in our Lechón Asado. Pair it with a classic Mojito or a smooth Cuba Libre, and let the flavors transport you straight to the streets of Havana.
Cuban art is bold, expressive, and full of history. From colorful paintings to stunning black-and-white photography, our restaurant walls showcase a handpicked collection of Cuban artistry, each piece telling a unique story. Every visit is a chance to explore and be inspired by the creative spirit of the island.
No Cuban experience is complete without music and dance! The infectious beats of salsa, bolero, and cha-cha-cha fill the air at Cuba’s Cookin’, bringing the island’s joyful spirit to life. Whether you're tapping your feet to the rhythm or taking a spin on the dance floor, every night is a celebration of Cuba’s rich musical heritage.
Cuba is more than just an island, it’s a feeling, a rhythm, a passion. From the vibrant streets of Havana to the soulful melodies of traditional Cuban music, the culture of Cuba is alive with energy, history, and artistry. At Cuba’s Cookin’, we bring that essence to Aruba, offering an immersive experience where you can feel the warmth of Cuban hospitality, taste authentic flavors, and lose yourself in the rhythm of the island.
