Nineteen years ago, Cuba’s Cookin’ opened its doors in Aruba, bringing with it a dream that has since flourished into something far greater than I could have ever imagined. Over the years, I have traveled back to the “big” island countless times, reconnecting with family, old friends, and the very soul of Cuba itself. With each visit, I’ve brought back more than just memories. I’ve brought back pieces of its heart. Today, our restaurant’s walls proudly showcase a stunning collection of Cuban paintings and photographs, each telling a story, each carrying a piece of home.

But Cuba’s Cookin’ has never been just about food. It has become a mission, a bridge between two islands deeply connected by history. Decades ago, many Arubans journeyed to Cuba in search of new beginnings, working tirelessly in the sugarcane fields. Some found love, returning home with Cuban wives, weaving the cultures of our islands together in a bond that still thrives today.
Through these years as proprietor of Cuba’s Cookin’, I have been blessed to share this beautiful culture with so many of you, its passion, its rhythm, its soul. From the intoxicating beats of salsa, bolero, and cha-cha-cha to the artistry that adorns our space, and of course, the rich, flavorful dishes that tell a story of their own, every moment here is a celebration of Cuba’s spirit. I invite you to be a part of it. Come and join us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, where the music moves you, the flavors transport you, and the dance floor welcomes you to create unforgettable memories. Because Cuba is not just a place, it’s a feeling, and it’s alive right here in Aruba. Tropical Cuban Regards,
